Fredrick and his little sister Ella were going to have a day at the beach when sudden bad weather soared in almost knocking them off of their feet, While packing up Ella finds and old webcam which contains the journey of 4 young oceanographers explores one of the worlds most mysterious landmarks, the Brumuta Triangle. With the help of their neighbors the group find out a way to find the oceanographers -or their bodies-. Will these teenagers change history, or will they disappear in action? Oceans everywhere have so much trash in them and we need to stop it. We can save hundreds of animals by recycling more and not littering. This story I wrote is about pollution of the ocean for the #PlanetOrPlastic contest by @NationalGeographic.

In the depths of the Pacific Ocean, where sunlight barely penetrates and shadows dance like phantoms, there resides a creature unlike any that has ever been recorded. Alex Carter, a seasoned oceanographer, and his dedicated team are on a mission to unravel the mysteries of these dark waters. Though they approach their work with a scientific mindset, a flicker of curiosity ignites within Alex-a nagging desire to discover what truly lies beneath the surface. Having plunged into the abyss twice already, he feels an inexplicable pull toward the unknown. The second descent was unlike anything he had experienced before. As he navigated through the eerie silence, illuminated only by the beam of his submersible's lights, he stumbled upon the remnants of a rusted ship, its hull encrusted with barnacles and time. It was a vessel swallowed by the ocean's depths, and within its decaying embrace lay a journal inside a wooden box, its pages yellowed and fragile. The entries spoke of a person who had vanished without a trace, leaving behind only whispers of terror and the unknown. The ocean had a way of hiding its secrets, and he was determined to uncover them.

Pearl Oxley is one of the lead oceanographers at the University of San Diego. When she's finally allowed to set out on a research vessel to test out new technology she and her partner had been developing for months, she becomes overwhelmed by the essence of the world around her and is taken back to the day she became determined to stop what little wonder remains in the ocean from being completely destroyed.
