Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (OCPD), also known as 'anankastic personality disorder' or 'compulsive personality disorder', is a behavioral disorder that is characterized by an excessive need for following the guidelines, organization, cleanliness, and perfectionism in society. OCPD is far more common in men than it is in women. A person with OCPD enforces his or her standards onto others for them to be like him or her through hard labor, despite some others suffering from a disability. On top of that, no one is actually perfect in the sense that all humans make mistakes to improve for next time. An obsessive-compulsive patient focuses so much on achieving completion on a task that he or she doesn't spend enough time with his or her children or friends outside of the workplace, as well as being cold and distant to them. Interestingly, an obsessive-compulsive patient might as well make up the largest in the working class than any other people with different personality disorders or mental disorders. Differences between OCPD and OCD Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder often gets lumped together with Obsessive-compulsive disorder as both the same disorder by many people. However, there are differences between these two disorders. People with OCD can't control themselves, and they are likely to seek help to treat their disorder. People with OCPD are able to control themselves, they almost never seek therapy, and they believe that they have a purpose in life to be symmetrical to impress others. Comorbidity The following conditions commonly coexist with OCPD: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other anxiety disorders Avoidant personality disorder (AvPD) Compulsive hoarding Substance use disorder Asymmetriphobia Germaphobia Eating disorders Depressive disorder Therapeutic Workbooks for Home : https://lnk.bio/vw4t

Many of my readers write to me asking how to better help their spouse or partner who has OCPD. After writing my book on OCPD - 35 Underlying Causes of OCPD, I jumped directly into researching everything that I could in order to help these couples to find a way to grow together. I knew some of the steps that helped OCPD couples because of my own experiences in growing and learning with my OCPD/Aspie spouse, but I wanted to find a much more 'big picture' way to approach and 'cure' or lessen OCPD tendencies.

As a teenager, I struggle with a variety of unique challengers that can be difficult to overcome. But, along with being a normal human being, I am also an author and with that comes the joy of writing. Hi, I'm Leah and for me one of the best coping mechanisms is to write. So, I have compiled an ongoing collection of short stories I have written whenever I've struggled with strong emotions. As someone with anxiety, OCPD, and just the overall challenging lifestyle that most teens face, complicated emotions hit me often, and getting it out on paper (digital paper, but still paper all the same) helps me cope with these unpleasant feelings. Whether they are directly related to a topic you struggle with, seem to express your emotions in way that is difficult to describe, or are simply an entertaining, yet healthy way to distract yourself from a current situation I hope these stories will provide comfort to you. Just know that you are not alone! If you ever need to talk, I am here. That being said, enjoy this little snippets that I've written. xo

Future Work so add it in your reading lists now. Trigger warnings: violence, murder, bloodshed, torture, racism, stalking, trauma, etc. Main tropes: Stalking, CEO, Boss, Enemies to lovers, Dark Romance, Murder, Mystery, and Thriller. ~~ "You always told yourself that you were a good girl, didn't you? With your innocent act, clad in a hijab, praying earnestly everyday, you could fool anybody, any day. But tell me this..., did you not enjoy the power, that tiny moment where you had the control over someone's life?" ~~ A murder committed out of fear has come back to bite me. And now he watches me, in the dark, amidst the shadows, within the crowds. I thought I got away but, I guess, I didn't. His presents for me are filled with notes of threats, written in the blood of his victims, pictures of me when I leave my home, buy groceries, meet my friends. He is everywhere. Now I have only two options, either find my stalker or surrender myself to the police. Regardless of the choice I make, I need to know what he wants from me. Just who is he? Or could it be a she? But if there's one thing I've learnt from all the mystery novels I've read then it is: Always be suspicious of the people closest to you.
