When Morgana escapes from the castle, mortally wounded and defeated, after her failed attempt of taking over the kingdom, it is not a little white dragon who saves her life but a young woman with some handy knowledge in herbs and healing. In the world that Imp and Alex live in, everytime you get physically/mentally/emotionally hurt, a physical scar shows up somewhere on your body. Alex doesn't want to open up to people because he's afraid of being hurt again, maybe living in a house with others will change his mind.
