An octo expansion fanfic with agent 3 x agent 8 involved

Agent 4 is a rare breed of a creature. Being half firefly Inkling and half mimic Octarian can have its perks, but it certainly has it's downsides- especially when you're still learning to control it. But after the many reports of Agent 4's death, followed by sightings shortly thereafter, many believe that Agent 4 is a ghost or some other powerful being. So the question remains... who is this vigilante? And what motivates them?

The prologue of Nemesis of Octarians

A young man heads to the city to locate his missing friend, and he discovers that she has been lying to him about what exactly she does for a living. The eyes of the city's law enforcement follow his every step, and now he must decide for himself what is right or wrong. Just like that, the newly christened "Agent 4" stumbles into a world of security threats, covert ops, and conflicting responsibilities.

Derek, a young inkling, isn't living in the exciting environment others enjoy. He lives in a cycle of enamel war against the octarians; they swear to emerge and terrorize Inkopolis. Cap'n Cuttlefish trains Derek to overpower and stop the octarians by their tentacles and force them to surrender. Because the octopi have been quite neutral for some time, Cuttlefish lets Derek venture into Inkopolis to learn about teamwork. He first discovers the top tier shooter, roller, and sniper in his first turf war with his team of himself. Many quickly discover his jaw-dropping skills no one has ever seen. Can the three skilled inklings change his mind about teamwork?

(Nothing to do with octo expansion, so don't hate!!) With the Great Zapfish safe, Agent 4 tried to track down the devious Dj Octavio, who managed to escape during their showdown at Cephalon HQ. She continues clearing every kettle thoroughly to try hunt him down, until one day her whole life is turned upside down.

After their capture in Octospace, the group has been separated. DJ is working again under the eye of General Octavian Shadow. Clarisse, Thalia, Phoenix, and Sapphire have been working as messengers to the other squid islands. All worked under the threat of execution. Silver has been dead. Civilization has begun under the reign of General Octavian Shadow. Trauma influences anger and violence. The threat of death suppresses anger and violence. Essentially, society as well as personal mentality are controlled. Silver died. It was witnessed. It cannot be argued against. He is dead. Agent 8, after a difficult journey filled with 8-balls and sanitized octarians, finally reached the surface, saving Inkopolis from a nasty fate. Callie has disappeared and the Great Zapfish has been stolen. With both Captain Cuttlefish and Agent 3 gone. Marie is now on her own. How would she cope with the responsibility of getting the Great Zapfish back. Luckily she's not completely alone. A new player has entered Inkopolis. This story takes place during the events of Splatoon 2 hero mode. This is also happening alongside the other Wattpad story Princess Callie.

In the wake of Octavio's most recent capture, Callie stays behind to seize a leadership position in Octo Canyon. Back in Inkopolis, Captain Cuttlefish and Agent 3 discover something fishy beneath Mount Nantai. And Eight, a former soldier, finds herself caught in a struggle that she wants no part of. Whether the Octoling likes it or not, her worldview is about to get an expansion.
