Two months have passed since the Battle of Manhattan where demigods fought to save Olympus. Skylar Solace was fairly certain all impending doomsday threats ceased with the conclusion of the Second Titan War. But ask all the questions you want, make as many comments as you want, advertise your book, comment random stuff, and in general, just try to piss Octavian off in any way possible. It was a scheme, that's all it was. A scheme to get on Reyna's good side to become praetor. It wasn't supposed to be this way, he wasn't supposed to fall in love with her. Those were all thoughts that Octavian had when he realized he had fallen in love with the very praetor he was trying to overthrow. It happened slowly, right under their noses, and they didn't catch it until it was too late to turn back. So they might as well make the most of it, right?
