Ain't A Hero is a Science Fantasy, Slice of (Odd) Life set in the post post-cataclysm future where magic kicked down the door and flipped the tables on a near transhumanist cyber/bio-punk world. It's a 1000 years into the future where common magic, super tech, and strange history serve as a backdrop to the familiar modern life that has adapted to this new world. The story orbits around Bach, a down and out adventuring college dropout trying to get by. He watches the latest news report about his "chosen one" brother getting defeated by the Dark Lord Noxian. He can't believe how ridiculous it is, and his brother agrees. The ghostly visage of his brother sitting right next to him on the couch... agrees. Soon, Bach is figuratively AND literally dragged by into the adventuring life by his brother's adventuring party that shows up on his doorstep. The serialized fiction follows the lives of different people in this strange yet familiar world, and how they change given the ordinary and extraordinary situations they find themselves in.

This is all the weird shit I found in my google docs from elementary school...6 years later. Some of this is not innocent whatsoever. I was messed up at a young age lol.

A short retelling of '102 Dalmatians' as though it actually had been animated. With a different puppy of Pongo and Perdita's as the lead puppy's parent. The human characters' names will also be different ones than the original sequel to the live-action remake from the 1990's of the instant animated classic, '101 Dalmatians'. I do not even know why I am actually doing this. I just thought that this would have made a fine, fine animated sequel compared to '101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure'. Speaking of Patch, that pup will at least be mentioned in this story.

I'm talking big, grand gestures-the kind of stuff you only see nowadays in movies and old novels: following someone across the country for love, using all your savings to go travel the world, quitting a dead-end job to follow a true passion, you know, things like that. Because that's what really matters in this crazy world at the end of the day-you'd never know you're really living until you take a risk like that. Otherwise you're just standing around twiddling your thumbs, waiting for something to happen to you. The problem is it never will. I mean, do people even realize that they're living such terrible, boring lives? Things don't just happen to people out of nowhere; you've got to take some initiative if you want to make it in this world. Here, I've got a good example.
