This is just poetry. Each update is a new poem, and I hope you like them. Oh, and most of it will be freestyle, but I will put in some odes as well. :)

A collection of my verse, "Reflections In A Moonlit Shard" covers everything from pre-colonial African history to contemporary mundanity; it includes three odes dedicated to people that are important to me, Yoruba spiritualism, and a description - in sonnet form - of my morning routine back in 2024.

chatoyant: noun-- light reflecting through a cut gemstone in which cady presents her poetry, because poetry finds the words for emotions that you always think of but can never put into words.

One day, a girl was given an assignment in English class. She had to write three odes, three haikus, and three free verse. She had only written her first three odes, when she was told they were too long, and she had to start over. She wasn't sure what to do with her other poems, but then an idea hit her. She could make a poetry book on Wattpad, and share her poetry with everyone. So now we're here. That girl was me, and this is my poetry. Some haikus, a little bit more odes, but mainly it's free verse, which range in size and emotion. Some are short and happy, while others are longer and more intense. Or vice versa.

This is a book filled with poems. Written a long time ago and revised or some new ones I had to write down. Enjoy!
