We are flowers under pressure, shoved into books and told to behave. These juices that flow from my petals end up onto paper, and they are presented to you. These pressed flowers are my childhood, my teenage years, and my life. They are my battle scars, and they are put on display for all to see. Take them as they are; interpret them as you will. Let them finally receive the sunlight that was pressed out so long ago. - This book is a collection of poems and odes that I wrote throughout high school and the confusing abyss I call the "wtf" years.
