Percy was mostly considered a commodity and a burden to her first step father- the former king of York. Because of this, (and against Sally's will) she was promised to a man that she considered ugly and old- and probably unkind. When tragedy strikes and the king dies, the queen, Sally quickly marries a new man, (this time unrestricted by her parents, now dead) this man proving to be much more kind and benevolent, helped her save the kingdom from the ruin the former king had almost caused. The only issue? Despite both the king and queen wishing to dissolve Percy's unfortunate Engagement, it was set in stone, written in contract. Un reversible. Athena isn't sure weather or not she was particularly at peace with Odysseus and Polites' friendship, SERIOUSLY, OPEN ARMS!? Polites couldn't believe he was dead, just the thought made his stomach turn, or at least, it would if he had one... Hermes was bombarded with TONS of deliveries, and most of it was just small notes and messages! And some people are hurt in ways that cannot be explained. As the saga continues, it becomes clear that this is more than a myth being retold. It is a memory. A past life resurfacing. A fate that refuses to stay buried. One hero has walked this path before. One queen has endured it twice. And when it all seems to finally break, the truth will no longer remain hidden. After all- The gods were watching long before they were.

He reads old scrolls. He talks to ancient priests. He throws himself off hills - repeatedly - just to prove a point. And somehow, despite every gust and disappearing act and cloak-to-the-face she can manage, he keeps finding her anyway.

A life shared through letters and behind closed doors. A marriage arranged by the Grey-Eyed Goddess to the woman of Odysseus' choice. A reckless example in the infamous lovers that are Patroclus and Achilles. What could go wrong? --- Okay I love the ship of Odysseus x Diomedes and this is basically by attempt a recreating it!!

After ten long years, the war between Troy is finally over. Odysseus is excited to return back home to his wife and son. But, he is also upset about having to leave his brother-in-arms, Diomedes, behind. Little does the King of Ithaca know, he still carries a piece of Diomedes with him. or An odydio/odypendio mpreg fanfic !
