Classical Studies essays for people who need ideas, or who are stuck writing boring essays for school and are unsure of what to write. Polymorphism Is a mock up of the poetry I have written and compiled over a year, covering issues such as religion, love, and art. Some poems are cheery, some are not, some are frank, some are much more washed. But I hope you enjoy reading them.

After Eteocles, the son of Oedipus, ascended to the throne of the city-state of Thebes, his younger brother, Polynices, decided that his brother must die before he could take the throne from him. Knowing his long heritage of family failures, Eteocles prepared himself for whatever was to come by sending a spy on his younger brother, now living in Argos under the protection of their king, Adrastus. Will the young king survive? Will the kingdom of Thebes remain the home of their most beloved founder, Cadmus? Or will Thebes fall to one of the stronger city-states such as Corinth, Sparta, or Athens? Could two hundred years of history now be altered by the possible coming storm? The two brothers, now many miles apart, could almost assuredly meet in mortal combat. Who will win?

Of Swell, it may well be true that a nondescript, tiresomely uncomplicated man is found dead in an isolated hut in the middle of a car park by a voluptuous though sexually innocent young woman who is convinced he is her saviour. The evidence might suggest his death has been caused by the unbearable heat then again, it may not be quite so simple. It is entirely possible that nothing about this man, and the story of his life, is as it seems. Swell is a seminal tale of obsession, isolation and control with intimations of sexual deviance. The Children Of Hurin is retold in poetic verse with a mild twist at the end. Despite getting most of the information from Tolkien, the tale draws from other myth which mastered Tolkien's work, like Sigurd, Beowulf, Oedipus. One of the saddest tragedies, hopefully this can maintain the spirit of the original while speaking to a higher sense of redemption and faith in a merciful power.

Dylan is a guy who walks home one day, only to find a girl who's new to the area. Unsure of what to think of her, Dylan later finds her and will do anything to understand his true feelings.
