Springfield's women take center stage in this darkly comic, musical anthology retelling of Women in Shorts. From Luann Van Houten's wine-merch obsession and Helen Lovejoy's apocalyptic overreaction to Malibu Stacy's disastrous brush with the real world and Marge Simpson's checkout-line reckoning, each segment explores desire, frustration, fantasy, and freedom - Springfield-style. Equal parts absurd, biting, and unexpectedly sincere, this retelling celebrates the women of Springfield in all their contradictions - messy, funny, flawed, and human. Disclaimer: I only own my OCs. The rest of The Simpsons are property of Matt Groening and 20th Century Fox Studios.

❝He tried to kill you...but I'm the monster?❞ ❝You're not going to win...if you keep standing there.❞ 🗡️💖FINISHED BOOK 1 💖🗡️ SUMMARY TEASER One would think a princess has it easy, or extremely hard. Vaylene, on the rarer hand, has nothing at all. In her world, staying inside of the walls is key to protection. Regular citizens rarely, hardly leave and travel into the dark woods. Vaylene realizes with a fright that she never knew she was so afraid of the night until she looked at those same forests with the moon held high. When she's offered a piece to savor with an nasty, monstrous aftertaste, why does she feel the blood rushing through her veins? What if she realizes too late life wasn't a book? What if she's addicted to them and she can't tell? What happens when she ventures outside of the walls that have been created to protect her, her sister in tow, in search of a reason? Pulled into a world of monsters schemes, adventures, Chain-Toppers and war while working under the only thing remotely close to a demon, she has no hope other than to save her sister. How much can she get away with? And how much will she lose? When the evil isn't as simple as she thought and the world isn't following a specific plot, how can she encourage repair? Is the past really so simple and plain as it's been told? If not, how will everyone move forward from the haunting past of MoonCaster looming over every shoulder? Could anyone really forget the damage done by merciless teeth? The action in this story progresses as the plot does! This first book is highly focused on adventuring. So please be patient 🥺🥺 Thank you for reading and taking the time to explore my world!

Mithila knows the worth of societal norms with a clinical, almost absurd precision. She has a great coping mechanism and has been acting the way her family and society want. But the coping mechanism becomes a double-edged sword when she has no choice but to go for an arranged marriage. She goes on a blind date with the guy she chooses from several proposals. The date goes okay, and everything seems perfect, like an old fairy tale. Mithila feels she can read this man very easily, and thus she agrees to marry him. While everyone starts thinking of it as a perfect love story, a sudden oddness tangles her mind. The man seems odd, and the relationship too, but what makes her more confused is whether the oddness is created by her or by that man. Who is the aberrant person here? Who is creating the deviation of a perfect love story here? Is it her? Or the man?

I loved Woman. I loved waking up with Her in the morning. I loved the way She Smelled. I loved jogging in the park with Her. I loved when She gave me kisses, and scratched my belly. I loved when She fed me yummy Food. I loved sitting with my head in Her Lap. I loved everything about Her! No woman was more perfect, no woman was more beautiful, no woman smelled sweeter than My Woman. But there was one thing I didn't like. Woman sometimes brought men home without sniffing them out properly. I wouldn't have minded if She brought home a good man -- like the nice man who sold tasty hot Meat at the Meat-Stand in the park, or the nice man who opened the door downstairs for us and sometimes gave me Treats! I would have been cool with those men. Instead, She brought home men who didn't smell right. Men who smelled like fear, which smells like stinky cat pee, which does not smell good at all. Men who were all fakey inside, who'd pat me on the head and say "Hey boy, who's a good boy," but didn't really mean it. Men who made my Woman act all nervous, and not like Herself. Men who made my Woman sad! By now, you've probably figured it out. That's right. I'm a Dog. My name's Mister MacDougal. I'm a Scottish terrier. And I'm the smartest, handsomest Dog you'll ever meet. Now: if you were a smart, handsome Dog who loved your Woman more than anything in the whole world -- even more than Food! -- you'd do anything to protect Her, and stop Her sadness, wouldn't you? Well, that's what this tale is all about. (A fair warning for sensitive readers: I'm a Dog. A Boy Dog. And Boy Dogs, you know, can be a little R-rated in the way they think about things. So even though I'm a gentleman at heart -- not to mention fixed, where it counts -- some people may find that stuff offensive. I'm cool with it. Just letting you know.)

Ping Pong Fella and Captain Jackhammer. And soon enough... Winner and Loser. "Just and average day. Robberies, a cold front coming in, war breaking out in some country, jackhammer killing, president gave a speech- wait, did that say it was gonna be cold?" "And he felt this sense... a sense that he hadn't felt before. He realized that he needed to help." "John paced around his room a few times, sometimes posing in the mirror to see if he looked like a superhero. He did not." "John looked down at his paddle. Yeah, it was burned and only had rubber on one side, but there weren't a lot of ping pong paddles that shot lasers and gave people superpowers."
