Each university student sat in that familiar agreement, so in turn, the class let out quietly as usual. Marinette packed light, so with her notebook closed and pens stacked in her case, she walked out of class. Tikki sat asleep in her pack, undisturbed by the shifting.
It was when she made her way to a coffee shop that she had been meaning to try that something struck her. Not inspiration, but a person.
She knew the face well. How could she not? It was in every slideshow her design professor hurried through. No, not his teen heartthrob face. The one Adrian had grown into. The man himself took a step back and centered himself.
"It's good to see you." She could feel his eyes, despite avoiding them.
The small tension she had unwillingly raised dissipated, just her and an old classmate.
