Even the law itself now has access to these technologies, and ever since, the crime rates have dropped significantly. Johnny and Kimi are two young lovers who are the only witnesses to a gangland hit. One early summer afternoon, they ride their motorcycles to the lake to be alone together. Later that evening; before they know it, they are witnesses to a brutal double murder. They watch the killers weigh the bodies down and dump them in the lake. Two nights later, Johnny and Kimi are running from the burning wreckage of the Safe House the FBI had put them in. To stay alive, they will have to go Off the Grid and find a way to take down the killers. All they have are their wits and the clothes on their backs. They can't trust anyone! Kimi is 19 and taking computer science classes and is already an expert; more so than most of her instructors. Her best friend and lover; Johnny is 22 and a talented motorcycle mechanic. He is taking automotive engineering and business classes so he can eventually take over his father's motorcycle shop. They were High School sweethearts and have been inseparable for over five years. ...He immediately notices the smell of gas. He dashes to Kimi's room and shouts. "We gotta' get out of here!" He takes her hand and they dash out the back door and into the woods. They get about 100 yards and then stop; just then the house explodes a huge fireball and burns fiercely. They both look at each other in shock. "What do we do now?" asks a terrified Kimi. "I'm not sure, but I know that we can't trust anyone right now! He points deeper the woods and says. "We'll talk later and get a plan, but for now we put some distance between us and the killers..."

An off the grid artist, who gave up everything to pursue their dream, only to be recognized anonymously with a month of fame, goes back into the city to find out what he's missed while he was gone for 20 years.

(This is an attempt at maybe doing the 30 day challenge. I haven't pledged yet, so I guess it'll be 'off the grid.') Sierramon and Sage, newly weds, take a trip to an abandoned cabin where the is no immediate access to electricity, phones, or other spices (people). Even though no one should be around, there is still the eerie feeling of something--or someone--creeping about the cabin. Is it just their imagination, or is there something afoot that neither of them anticipates?

This is a story that I randomly had an inspiration for.. it will start off all cute and cuddly and then somewhere in the plot it's going to take a very dark turn.. mwahaaa. __________________________ This story take place in North Carolina, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, when a young widowed woman decides to pursue an off grid way of life, with her infant daughter and small dog. Grieving the loss of her dead husband, she decides to live out his dreams and dive head first into the life they so desperately wanted to live together. However.. An older gentleman who happens to be the young widowed woman's neighbor, takes a sudden interest in the young woman who apparently has casted away the world, much like himself in various ways. Intrigued, and dealing with a similar grief.. the man soon decides to try and become friends with her. No matter how hard she fights him or declines his help.. he will inevitably become suffocatingly close until there is no escape from his presence and there needs. Take a chance, or take a hike.. either way I'll still be writing for our enjoyment.💚

She won a contest to save her life. Being stuck in a bunker isn't so bad when the world above comes to an end. Things aren't so bad, the hum of the bunker is almost calming, everything was going well until an unexpected message popped up on the computer. Now she has to make a decision that will decide her fate.

The Accordance has put into place a new society. A new way of life and with that new life comes many rules; rules that are to be abided by, or else. Rowan and Asher are only two of the Strays (those who choose not to conform). As the leader, Rowan- with the help of Asher and a strange man-must keep the camp safe from the Peacekeepers. Constant running and hiding are the new normal as Strays are given the choice (once captured) to conform or be put to death as an example. Ledger Cross. He will stop at nothing to get rid of every last Stray until all people give in to his new order. Why he has hatred in his heart for the Strays.. your guess is as good as anyones. Will Rowan and Asher be able to keep the camp safe? Who can stop Ledger Cross, or better yet, can anyone convince the people of his motives? Will stress and tragedy weaken the bond of these three? Upon arriving at the ranch, the Kellers are met with further disappointment when they discover that the 'ranch' is nothing more than an old trailer, situated off the grid.
