This is an offshoot story of my novel-length fic, The Accidental Seduction of Edward Teach by Stede Bonnet, Gentleman Pirate. That fic is canon divergent and splits off around the end of episode 8 and assumes that Calico Jack and Izzy never betrayed the crew, so the slow burn of Ed and Stede's relationship continued. (Read it here: https://www.wattpad.com/1219857630-the-accidental-seduction-of-edward-teach-by-stede) This fic is sort of a Rosencrantz and Guildenstern moment that takes place around chapter 30, after Izzy has hooked up once with a man named Declan Finch. Declan was Stede's stable hand on Barbados and he followed Stede back to the Revenge after he went to tie up his old life. Declan holds a candle for Stede, but by this point has accepted he's with Ed. I'm not sure how many people are interested in this side story, but it wouldn't leave my head. And since the other story is very strictly Ed's POV, this was the only way to tell it. Smut implied, but not explicit. Declan is played by Jemaine Clement.

"And if you don't love me now you will never love me again" -- "You think you can just come back like nothing happened? Like you didn't jus' leave me there? I stayed there for so long, Stede. I waited for you. You never came."

Blackbeard emerges from belowdecks after hearing his ship being raided. Who he sees takes his breath away. Being a long-time lover of the How to Train Your Dragon movies and a newfound Our Flag Means Death fan, I've decided to mash the two together like Vladimir with his little ceramic unicorns in Tangled. After months of searching, Stede Bonnet finally finds himself face to face with his beloved Edward Teach.

Izzy Hands reflects on his history with Blackbeard, and how the man he'd dedicated his life to was lost to ennui and then to a ponce named Stede Bonnet. ---- The tone of this is darker and more serious than my other OFMD pieces because it's from Izzy's perspective. Someone described Izzy as being in the wrong genre, and I think that fits! So it didn't make sense to include a lot of humour in this fic. Smut and sex suggested, but no explicit content.

I am coming here after almost a year of not writing any new fics. Theme of this one is my new favourite series Our Flag Means Death. This is my version of season 2 of Our Flag Means Death since I know everyone can't wait till season 2. Like most of my fanfics, you should go and watch the show before reading this as there will be major spoilers for the whole season. (This takes place after season one. if you haven't finished it, do it now.) - Edward had been long gone ever since Stede had left him at the dock. The only person there now is Blackbeard. The man went down a spiral that ultimately ended with him going back to his old days of being a heartless, emotionless, person who showed no mercy for any person. Soon, word had gotten to the ship about Stede's tragic death which made Blackbeard build his walls more. Never letting any man make his way into his heart ever again. But what happens when a man named Clark Bennett, a wannabe gentleman pirate, catches Blackbeard's attention?

Stede Bonnet is most certainly not the runaway son of an incredibly wealthy baron, who fled the very night he was to be wed to a Ms. Mary Allamby. Heavens no! He's a Lighthouse Keeper. And as a very good lighthouse keeper, he is positive absolutely nothing will go wrong. Not a thing. {This is also over on ao3 if you prefer that platform :) }

Luka Littleton is working off his debt on a pirate ship of unrenown, when it is seized by the fiersome Theo Crimsonblade & his crew. Luka is spared, his remaining servitude owed to The Ivy. The captain quickly becomes enamored with Luka, seeing his potential as a pirate, and as a lover. Adventure, danger & messy entanglements await these two, and their lovable comrades, in this tale that takes a look at the softer side of the pirate's life, and what it means to sacrifice everything for your found family.

Stede Bonnet is active in his local community theatre troupe. When his scene partner in his first gay role drops out, a new arrival to town, Ed Teach, is cast. The chemistry is immediate and hits them both like a ton of bricks. -- A romantic one-shot that might turn into something longer down the road!

Post-season one, post-reunion but not-quite reconciliation. To celebrate a recent swashbuckling, the crew is having a dance party aboard The Revenge! Trouble is, Edward and Stede still haven't really -addressed- anything that has happened between them. But thanks to a dreamy summer night and Frenchie's lute, they might just get the courage to put words to whatever it is.
