Austin Carlile seems to have it all. He's the frontman of successful band Of Mice and Men, and is head over heels in love with his best friend Alan Ashby. Carlile suffers from Marfan Syndrome, a genetic disorder of connective tissue. Although there is no cure, most people manage to live a normal life. The disease causes heart issues as well. The disease has been wearing down his heart valves. Austin's had several surgeries to fix his problems. What happens when they stop working? What happens when his friends and family find out he's dying? What will happen to Alan?

They bond at school and they become best friends. But something tears them apart and they may not make it.

And he'll do anything to get her back, even if it's deadly.
