"How troublesome..." I started this book a while ago and I'm not satisfied. So I'm discontinuing this fanfic and am working on other interests Bungo stray dogs belong to it's own rightful owners. Chiasa Akane belongs to me.

But who was willing to take the fall for someone they had such a love-hate relationship with? For a man they could hardly trust outside of battle. So they made a bet, because when has that ever screwed either over before? This isn't going to be about their destruction. This is about the birth of a relationship; a new found trust. An immortal king who only wishes to end his life. What drove him to this insane state? Why did he live such a suicidal lifestyle when his future was perfect? Why would he ruin everything just for a little thrill? He knew his life was going to crumble around him. Perfect doesn't last, after all. Those he had grown so fond of wouldn't have made it, so Dazai was willing to gamble everything if it meant he could do something worthwhile - be something worthwhile. Now, he stands in the middle of a battlefield, breaking the very people he swore to protect. "You can't protect them if you're still stuck in the past!" I heard Chuuya shout, his eyes burning into the back of my head. "It wasn't your fault, Dazai! To me, to us, you were no monster. Now get that into that damn head of yours." "But-" "I don't have time for your damn rebuttals. Save the person that's right in front of you rather than those in your past. They're gone, but we're not. We're still here."

I'm counting on you, asshole." // Chuuya Nakahara, the aggressive ginger runt of the Port Mafia, has a surprisingly soft spot for his underlings, and it shows. He's like a big brother to them. Even when they've left. That doesn't change what they had. But who's there to look after him when he's once again swept into the shadows? I have never heard of anyone asking for him, when he has done so much for them, and it is a painful and lonely existence. But, being the person that he is, Chuuya was more than willing to make sacrifice after sacrifice for people who didn't deserve it. But, that's what older siblings are for. They make the sacrifices no one else wants to. They do what has to be done and don't ask for extra credit. Watch as he makes one sacrifice too many for people who cared more than they realised.
