A story set in/based on the The Ogre's Bride (Oni no Hanayome) universe. Following a devastating war, demons emerged from the shadows to save humanity, quickly rising to dominate politics, industry, and finance with their supernatural powers and beauty. Because demons treat their destined human brides with profound love and devotion, every woman dreams of marrying one. In a world where humans and ayakashi (demons) co-exist with each other, this is where we meet Akiyama Suiko. Fate chose her for him. Loving him back is Sui's choice. Akiyama Suiko has always known that humans and ayakashi share the same world. What she isn't prepared for is Kogetsu Kō-a powerful kitsune who takes one look at her and knows, with absolute certainty, that she is his Bride. For Kō, there is no question. The bond is instinctive, permanent, and impossible to ignore. For Sui, there is no supernatural certainty at all. As she is drawn into Kō's world of ancient families, complicated traditions, demon politics, and an unexpectedly warm household, something begins to grow between them that has very little to do with fate.
