She meets a handsome man, who helps her on her journey to learn about the healing arts. She will go on many quests, travel many lands and cross many seas, as well as gain many friends on her journey through life. Developing a relationship with Maddadh, the two of them become one. This is the story of Maia, Shrek's adopted human sister. He found her one night while he was foraging for supplies, and decided then and there he'd take care of her. Join Shrek and Maia as they go on a quest for a princess, meet up with many different creatures, and re-possess their swamp! I know the cover's not great, but I didn't want to use any Shrek images because there are a lot of Shrek stories that use those covers that look sketchy. So...here you go. I promise the story is a lot better than the description and the cover.

'Magic? Who Needs It!' is a fast-paced fairy tale set in drought-ravaged countryside. As a result of the drought, a community of fairies and elves is forced to leave their homes and find somewhere else to live. It is written for children 10 years and older (and anyone who is a child at heart). It is family friendly and includes subtle life lessons for children, humour, emotional moments and several complications.
