Kobayashi Chinatsu has spent most of her high school years in the hospital, her dreams of archery long since given up. On the outside, she seems well-smiling as she helps staff and other patients-but her failing health works like a clock around her life. Everything changes when Yamamoto Kyōka, a talented young dancer with a severe arm infection, is brought into her room. Kyōka resists her new reality, restless and proud, while Chinatsu's calm warmth draws her in.

Ikigai, the reason to live. A transfer student from Canada finds her way in Shinsei Kōkō. Chiaki Saito is a daydreamer artist who before coming to Osaka, was often alone. Yet here, in Shinsei Kōkō, she meets a new group of people. One catches her interest. Slowly but surely, she will help Chiaki find her passion in her last years of high school.

After 6 years, Kyoka and Lílí meet again in a dance reality show called Street Woman Fighter 3, where 7 groups from each country compete to see who wins.
