Even the brightest star dims when left alone... but some stars never stop shining.
Mako is gone. The world moves on, but for Okami, time seems to stand still. She refuses to believe he's truly gone-deep inside, she knows he'll return. Yet, the days without him feel endless.
To distract herself, Okami trains harder than ever, pushing her limits in tournaments and battles. She masks her emotions with strength, but no matter how many fights she wins, she can't escape the war raging inside her heart. Does she fight for power... or for something more?
Jake and the others try to lift her spirits, and even Mako's parents offer silent encouragement. Yet, loneliness lingers like a shadow. She won't admit it, but she misses him-more than anything.
Then, a sudden crisis strikes the city. In the heat of battle, Okami finds herself cornered and wounded. Just as defeat seems inevitable, a figure descends from the sky, shielding her with unwavering strength.
A voice she never thought she'd hear again speaks:
"Did you miss me?"
It's him.
As tears well up in her eyes, Okami finally realizes the truth-Mako is home.
And this time, she won't let him go.
