"I'm okay." Dalawang salitang ang dali sabihin, pero ang hirap panindigan. Khenjie is the type of guy who loves quietly but deeply. Yung hindi pala-post, hindi ma-drama, pero grabe magmahal. He gives his time, his effort, his reassurance - kahit hindi naman palaging nababalik sa kanya. Hindi siya humihingi ng engrande. Hindi siya naghahanap ng fairy tale. Gusto lang niya ng consistency. Simpleng good morning. Konting update. Assurance na hindi siya nag-iisa sa laban. Pero paano kung siya lang pala ang lumalaban? Paano kung siya lang ang mas nagmamahal? Sa bawat "okay lang ako," may lungkot na tinatago. Sa bawat ngiti, may takot na baka siya na naman ang maiwan. I'm Okay is a story about loving too much, overthinking every silence, and slowly realizing that sometimes the person who says they're fine is the one hurting the most. Because sometimes, the strongest people are the ones who cry alone at night - and still say "I'm okay" the next morning.

There is a particular kind of grief that is considered unworthy of sympathy. It is the grief of a person who was given a choice and made it, and must now live inside the consequences of their own making like a house they built themselves and cannot leave. It is, of all griefs, the loneliest. Nobody mourns on your behalf. You chose this, they say, as though choosing makes it hurt less. Donna Lucia Maria chose. She was a princess, which is to say she was an ornament that had developed the inconvenient habit of thinking. She was not permitted bread, was expected to love a prince she found deeply uninteresting, and had done what beautiful, starving, intelligent women so often do when left with too much feeling and nowhere to put it - she had fallen, completely and without dignity, in love. The object of her affection was a knight. The knight was not, technically, a knight. This distinction mattered enormously to everyone except Donna Lucia Maria, which tells you nearly everything you need to know about her. There is a tiger in this story, as there always is. I didn't just lose someone who I loved I also lost my best friend. In this world, some friends will stick by your side and follow through life with you. I believe that every person who comes into my life is a gift and a blessing, I believe you should hold them close. I wish the world could be filled with love and not hatred. Sometimes people forget that no one is truly above anyone else in this world, we are all going to die. No one will live forever. Sadly we will all be forgotten eventually and in the end what good did all this get you. You cut off the people who have been there for you despite the circumstances, they love you. Why? Some stupid high school rumor? Because some of your friends don't like me? I gave you all my love and trust and you broke it all for what? Do you know what that does to a person?
