But then when you turned nine...you had the unfortunate luck of moving away.. On everyone's fourteenth birthday, you get a piece of jewelry to communicate with your soulmate on. When you turned fourteen you got a ring. It was a few days before you start your freshman year at Phoenix Drop High. Who will be my soulmate? Is what you and everyone around you wonders. There were rules to this though. No one was allowed to share their name with their soulmate. They'd have to figure out whom each other was on their own. Nor is anyone allowed to speak about the conversations between them and their soulmates.

Aphmau O'Duer has been chosen to fight in a death arena with 17 others. She was chosen with Brendan Xui. She meets people and hates people. This is a Zane X Reader book, please be aware that I also like Zane and if you dislike Zane and don't think he had a heart, well, please read to change your mind. ~~~~~~~ Zane met (Y/N) in Phoenix Drop while threatening Aphmau. She wants to help Aphmau badly but they wouldn't let her. (Y/N) starts to fall for Zane and she even hung out with him one day without being noticed and that happened ever since.

Garroth Ro'meave is the firstborn son of the strongest kingdom in the Ru'aun Region, O'khasis. Aphmau is the Lord of a smaller kingdom on the edge of the region called Phoenix Drop and an occasional bandit. When Aphmau's Phoenix Alliance begins to grow, O'khasis plans to extinguish this new rising of power. And only Garroth is against the idea. Their first meeting is not what either of them expect, but it proves that stopping O'Khasis's attempt at war will be harder than they would ever be able to guess.

Gem is the forgotten Shadow daughter. The reason I saw forgotten is because the Shadow Lord doesn't know of her existence. She is a Shadiw Knight that lives in O'Khasis. At the age of five she destroyed a village full if people. Zane heard of this and searched for her.
