A samurai's duty is to protect and to serve dutifully, that much has always been clear. But when new lines are drawn and old ties broken, who does a faithful warrior turn to? When Wu uncovers a mysterious legend about an honorable samurai, he immediately notices that something about the very essence of the story's details does not ring true. Before he can even begin to delve into tales of both history and the future, he disappears from the face of Ninjago. Determined to ensure that the ninja will not have to face losing their master once again, Pixal, secretly Ninjago's great defender, Samurai X, jumps into research that leads her to a journey of her own. Days pass, and without any sign of either of them, the ninja frantically ask all of their allies for help finding answers. An unexpected tip soon leads to a meeting with both a new friend and an old one, both of which hold a part of the puzzle as to the disappearances. Soon, it is discovered that the disappearance of yet another individual links together what the ninja had once thought to be separate paths. ~~~ This story takes place a while after the events of season 12 (Prime Empire), but before/excluding the events of season 14 (Seabound). After Kazuki lost his mind and had his heart broken after watching the DVD's he runs from home and saw something he never expected to see. His own sister, Rinka, talking to the same elderly bastards from the videos. He overheard her plan with them, finally unable to take it he runs as far away as possible. He finds himself outside of a bar and meets a man who could help him gain what was rightfully his....REVENGE.
