The 16 year old Rin Okumara finds a piece of paper lying on the ground outside of the Cram school doors one day. Taking it home, he shows his twin brother Yukio the jibberis written all over the page. As they read it, they find themselves in a strange world, where everything is huge. But soon, they realize, this isn't a huge place, they're really tiny! Natsu Drageel is a Mage that lives in Fiory. As member of the fairytale guild, he finds a paper on the job request board, completely written in jibberish. Before trying to read it a blinding light comes from the forest near the guild hall. As he goes to see what it was, he finds something that will change his life as he knows it. Clay, Glory, Tsunami, Starflight, and Sunny, all 6 year old dragonets, are trying to find their families, stop a war, and try not to get caught by the evil rival queens. As the Sandwing, Sunny, spots a stone with odd carvings on it, Starflight, the smart Nightwing, desifer sit and ends up sending them all to a strange land. Landing in some woods, they find they are shrunk, and have no way back. But the one thing they don't know is they are about to be part of the biggest event in history of all three realms.

Rin is Autistic, and a half demon, which explains why he acted 'demonic' as a child. He didn't know about either thing till at True Cross about half a year after father Fujimoto died, Rin had a meltdown and Yukio called in Mephisto to see if he knew why this was happening, he didn't and a doctor, who worked for the Vatican, was called in. She dieicnost Rin with Aspergers, a high functioning form of Autism, and explained it to both Yukio and Mephisto. Mephisto didn't know that a demon could even get Autism but now he knew a /half/ demon could. The next day Rin went to see that same doctor to see what this disorder was all about.
