Ash and Eiji are room mates in their 3rd year at university. Ash is struggling with balancing a harrowing home-life and keeping up appearances at school and work at Chang Dai with Shorter. He is a mess, rightfully so. Eiji is adjusting as a foreign exchange student between school, his room mate, and his art. Slow burn between Ash and Eiji. Ash is anxious and soft and Eiji and strong and supportive of Ash during his hard times. This is the first fic I've written. Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes. Eiji grew up in a world where everyone could communicate with his soulmate telepathically and use other skills only soulmates possessed. Only Eiji couldn't. What was worse, Eiji felt his soulmate's immense pain through the bond and couldn't really help him except for showing him he wasn't alone... He always dreamed of meeting his soulmate one day. When Ibe asks him to come to New York with him, he suddenly hears a voice speaking to him using... TELEPATHY? So, his soulmate is American? Will the two of them meet? And what will happen if Eiji learns of Ash's past?

This is a story consisting of two one shots I wrote as a commission. The first chapter is about Ash's emotions at the end of episode 24 and the second chapter is about Eiji's feelings. Both of their injuries are smaller and they find their happy ending.

Just a small drabble because I'm feeling fluffy for Asheiji. It's just a one-shot of around 250 words. Enjoy.
