However, having attempted to workshop this story in a class in college, whilst editing it, I found that instead of it improving, that it actually was like untwining a thread. Have you ever witnessed a light so bright, that you almost convince yourself that you might have gone blind? So bright, that the afternoon sky sans clouds look pearly, glittering, as the sunlight gleams off of it. You feel your throat burn with every sip you take of your drink, music in the background muted by your thoughts, so loud. Your throat burns, it's on fire. He seems so close yet so distant. You see his face break into a smile. You cannot stop looking at him. The world around you is moving too fast. You're stuck in a dreamy haze as though you are high. What is happening? What is the truth? What is real?

Funny that the end of the world should come from something so small. Even small things can have big consequences I suppose.
