"Curse the fiends, their children too. And their children forever true." A woman murmured softly into the night as the bloodmoon hung high in the sky. "I call to the bloodless wherever they be." She cooed while stroking my long silver hair as I rested my head in her lap. "The night brims with defiled scum. And is polluted with their rotten stench. Just think, now you're set to hunt - kill to your heart's content!" "We are born of the blood. Made men by the blood. Undone by the blood. Our eyes are yet to open, fear the Old Blood." A man's raspy voice warned from the shadows. "By the gods girl, fear it." "Our thirst for blood satiates us, soothes our fears, but beware the frailty of men." A different woman's voice murmured in soft warming. "What is it you desire?" ~ A lone figure with long, flowing silver hair strolled down the beast filled streets without a care in the world. Her light blue eyes shining with untold madness in the pale moonlight, scaring off any beast that would dare approach her. In her hand resided two swords that combined into a double bladed spear when transformed, and both blades were stained with an ominous red liquid. But the most notable feature feature the girl sported was the sick, sadistic, bloodthirsty smile that stretched across her pale face to reveal sharp pointed teeth. Teeth that belonged to a beast.

The world has change so much as time passes by, humans were once on the top food chain but shapeshifters and magical creatures appears leaving them as the number one prey, Werewolves that can shift from giant wolf that is 10x stronger than a normal human, vampires that drain thier blood, witches that play magical spells and rare lycan that appears to be the strongest creature that ever lived. But this story is not how humans fight for their freedom against vampires, Werewolves and witches, it's about how my life as the oldest and greatest witch find herself stumbling in a kingdom ruled by a lycan who hates witches but destiny is a funny thing, two powerful creatures find thereselves bound for each other by the moon goddess, they tried to avoid the pull of mating but who will last when they clearly live to be together.

I was never a hero. I was a scribe, hidden behind ink-stained hands and silent obedience. They trusted me with their secrets, the forbidden truths the Healing Church swore no one could know. I learned too much, and I paid for it. So, I ran. The Old Blood in my veins is a curse I refuse to give in to. I tell myself I'll cure it, that I can suppress it-because if I don't, it will consume me. Every step I take is survival, and every village I pass is just another reminder: I can only trust myself. Alone, I'm safe. Alone, I can't be betrayed. But fate doesn't care about my plans. He came out of the dark like he belonged there-Narsus, silver-haired and sharp-tongued, with Cainhurst secrets written in the way he moves. I don't trust him. I shouldn't trust him. But when you're surrounded by beasts, sometimes the person you want to run from is the only one pulling you back to your feet. This is my story-the moment I stopped running. For anyone who's ever fought to hold on to themselves, who's ever been haunted by the weight of something they didn't ask for-this is how it started.
