Greyroot is a city that watches. Its cobblestone streets remember every step ever taken, and its walls keep secrets older than the academy built within them. Nothing here is as still as it appears-not the stone, not the silence, not the past. Aila has always noticed things others don't. The way the ground feels warm beneath her shoes. The way the city seems to shift when no one is looking. At Greyroot Academy, she's taught to observe and investigate-but no one warns her what happens when the city starts answering back. Tomas knows how to belong in Greyroot. He's charming, careful, and comes from a family whose name is woven into the city's history. What he shows the world is easy. What he hides is darker, heavier, and far more dangerous. As strange disturbances begin to surface, Aila and Tomas are drawn into a mystery buried beneath stone and memory. Anger rises. Trust is tested. Feelings neither of them expected begin to grow in the spaces between fear and truth. Some cities are built to last. Greyroot was built to forget. But not everything stays buried forever.

An old city was destroyed by its citizens, and the leaders were murdered. However, a certain daughter strays away, to create a city of her own. Her journey takes quite a long time, however. Due to her faith in a certain force, she creates a beautiful, strong city. But when her brother tries to live their with his family, things don't go as well as he had hoped.

NOTE - Story not completed, however I will release next part if there is any interest. The Culpepper's and the Andertons were business rivals in Victorian London. Amaris Anderton was a young girl, bent on creating chaos for her parents, and giving herself a troublemaking status. Esteldo is her twin brother, who feels the opposite, as he struggles against his sisters reputation, as he fights to discover his identify. Emmett Culpepper struggles against his parents wishes, hoping to escape.

In the year 3114, 16 year-old Sindar Cinder is taken from her Sector to the Rebel encampment Jonesville, only months before her coming of age day. There she is told the truth about the Government and convinced to provide information that could help overthrow the Govenment. In retaliation, the Government take her father, Dr. Cinder, into custody to improve project Mind Wipe so that it can be spread to the Rebels who have no intention to rescue Dr. Cinder. Can Sindar and the few friends she's made in Jonesville save her father in time while completing their mission to help overthrow the Government? This is a special kind of story, instead of making a story with official characters, I will write about different ones in different stories. Each of them will have a different meanings, too. I suppose this is for me who have too many stories or books and too many deadlines.
