Once upon a time, there was a wonderful queen loved by her kingdom. Then one day she was poisoned, nobody knew who did it, but all grieved. The next week the new queen was crowned. All hail Queen Iris of Arcus. The late majesty's younger sister, loved just as much as her elders. She was a sweet loving child. A New hope for the kingdom. While her demands were a bit... Strange, people dismissed them. What happens when a king from the neighboring kingdom becomes suspicious of her highness? I beg your pardon, you'll have to read to find out!

In the year 1899, a young boy wanders into an unattended exhibit and finds a rather enticing attraction. An attraction with gorgeous scales, beautiful eyes, and a pretty tail. This was inspired by a beautiful piece of artwork on DeviantArt by the amazing Phillip "Jolly Jack" M. Jackson! I found the drawing really cute and couldn't resist writing something about it, so here we are. Also, fun fact: Jack made the drawing for his mom, and I think that's pretty sweet.
