It's been a bit since Reverie lost the two most important people to her. She and her family moved back to their hometown and are faced with new challenges. Women can't live alone and provided for a family so Mary has a new beau. Meanwhile the younger kids are growing fast and becoming a lot to handle. Lockett and Rev are leaning on each other more than ever and Reverie is going to experience the growing pains of a teenager in the late 1800's.
