"This is wrong," Aditya murmured, stepping back, but his gaze betrayed him.
"Then why does it feel so right?" Swetha's voice was barely above a whisper, her eyes searching his.
He exhaled sharply. "Because some things were never meant to happen."
"And what if they were?" she challenged, a quiet fire in her voice.
He clenched his jaw, looking away. "Swetha, I am your teacher. You're my student. This-whatever this is-ends here."
She smiled sadly, stepping closer. "You can keep saying that. But we both know... we were never meant to follow the rules."
