Her mother moved away and her father has gone to war, who is left for her? living with her grandmother now in the country her life has been thrown upside down, but with her upcoming 16th birthday secrets are thrown in to the mix has she been lied to her whole life or is she the first in her family to have sight? "Shirley?" The voice sounded faint and croaky. "Help us!" The voice softened an morphed into that of a women. "Mrs McCrawley?" I sobbed thankful for her presence, wait why does she want help? What is wrong with her voice? Who is us? All of a sudden the wind picked up and the sky's grew darker than they did before. Picking up twigs and leaves swirling them in willy-willy's (Australian word for little tornado-like wind formations that spin and die quickly.) "Shirley," her voice changed and morphed but it was hers I knew it, "turn around, honey. I know you can hear me." What I turned to see was life changing.
