Written as an original version of the ending of Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit. This is the ending that I would have preferred- a justified, happy conclusion. It replaces Chapter 25 and the Epilogue in the original novel. Background of Tuck Everlasting [SPOILER ALERT]: Winnie met the Tucks by accident at a spring that grants eternal life to those who drink it. The Tucks "kidnap" her because she knows what the spring is. Jessie is one of the sons of the Tucks and he starts to have feelings for Winnie. He gives her a small bottle of the eternal life spring water to drink when she's 17 because that's how old he looks, though he's actually several decades old. Tuck (his father) is convinced that it's a curse and doesn't want her to partake in it, claiming that life is a wheel and should keep turning. The Tucks were outside that wheel, which was unnatural and unfair. After that, they returned her back home and the last chapter in the book has her use the vial on a toad who was going to be killed by a dog. The actual epilogue had Winnie not drink the spring water. Instead she grew up, got married, and died before the Tucks made it back to see her.
