Oldforest Stories

This is a fanfiction I wrote a long time ago and is located on my first deviantart account. Maybe I'll finish typing it! This is a story about the first fire that could have saved the clans.

Minnowpaw is just like any other RiverClan apprentice. She is loyal, strong, a determined to become a warrior that her Clan can be proud of. But a strange accident leaves Minnow with an invisible curse that starts to take the lives of those around her. One by one, Minnowpaw's Clanmates begin to turn on her, and tragedy threatens to tear RiverClan in two. Angry, confused, and scared for her future, Minnowpaw begins to believe that the best way to serve her Clan is to leave it behind forever.

A moon after Minnowpaw failed to return from her journey to Highstones, RiverClan has accepted that she is dead. Life is continuing in the forest as the Clans prepare for leaf-bare, but unknown threats begin to loom on the horizon. Between a mysterious omen and border troubles, no one knows what will happen next. In the midst of it all, newly named warrior Redblaze struggles in the wake of Minnowpaw's curse. He still mourns for Flamepelt, and he blames Minnowpaw for the deaths that plagued his Clan. As the days drag on, the wedge between Redblaze and his Clanmates grows deeper, and it starts to seem like he is beyond help. Will he be able to bounce back from his darkness, or will it consume and destroy him?

What happens when a greedy human meets three kind witches? Will he change for better or will he betray them? Read to find out! Two shall rise to the demise of one. That was the prophecy given to ThunderClan. The cats notice that if linked with the previous prophecy, they can infer that another cat will rise, rivaling Fire. Problem is, who is the "one" that will suffer from a terrible fate?

A normal cat in a normal clan takes a turn to the dark side, while another rises to the top. With three cats in a tale of two, jealousy brings a prophecy to an end. With evil lurking behind her back and growling at her heart, can Snakestripe break free of temptation to destroy what she loves most? Blindstar was born with a great weight upon his shoulders, to prove himself as worthy to be a warrio due to his blindness. As his journey down this path continues, darkness begins to press into this young cat until a prophecy has turned him into something no Riverclan cat could expect. A kittypet has the spirit of a wild cat and longs to join ThunderClan. His friend Lilyflower encourages him to join the clans. Will Dawnstar accept him?

It has been nearly two seasons since Minnow turned her back on her warrior ancestors and left RiverClan to protect them from her curse. Living at the Twoleg farm with three other loners is an everyday struggle, and being so close to the forest means that Minnow is close to the past that continues to haunt her. She isn't sure if she should leave or embrace her new life, and that question is harder to answer as the cats she lives with become more like family. In the end, Minnow will be forced to make a decision: leave everything behind or take a stand for what is right.

Ravenwing is a warrior now, but his struggles are far from over. As he tries to find his place within ThunderClan, he realizes that he isn't the only cat with secrets. He already knows some cats are willing to kill to keep their shadows hidden, and as much as he tries to avoid it, Ravenwing knows one thing with certainty: he can't ignore his own secrets forever. Faramir Took dreams of adventures and quests, and longs to be part of the great tales and songs like his father is. When Pippin tells him a new story about the mysterious Ent-Wives, Faramir decides it would be a good adventure to go looking for one, and drags his friend Gorbadoc Brandybuck along with him. The only problem is, their quest leads them deep into the Old Forest, a place all hobbits fear to speak of. Their adventure will test the limits of their friendship and their courage as they fight to find their way home.
