Sometimes we searched for the old us and all we can see is a new version. Wounded. Weak. Where's our old self? Where did they go?

Do you ever wish someone would of told you certain things when you were becoming a teenager? Some one asked me a simple question once. If you could write a letter to your 14 year-old self, what would it say? Well this is what it would say and what I wish someone would of told me when I was an early teen.

I'm currently 14, about to turn 15. I have a serious medical condition, and this is what I would say to my older self.

Is adulting also making you feel chained to responsibilities? This is an honest account of my feelings of regret towards the things I no longer can't achieve because I have my priorities now. Now, just because you remember the "freer" times doesn't mean you aren't happy with your current life. Being an adult doesn't mean you can't look back and reminisce on the times you were free to do whatever you wanted, free to be free, free to be you... This poem is a VILLANELLE, as was popularized in Dylan Thomas' "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night."

When words uttered are either ignored on not heard, what better way to express oneself than with poetry?

Don't forget to switch off the lights, I prefer the darkness to that false illumination. Here I can lay, Here I can cry, and here is the place where - each night - I can die.

This poem is about my present self writing a letter to my past self and always the stuff I went through and what made me the person I am today! this is based on true events. I was inspired by the xxxtenction sad music video so that's why I had chose this picture! Miranda Voss just transferred to a new school. Its the second semester in Washington. She left her previous school due to bullying incidents. Unfortunately these incidents effected her entire family when they moved across the country. Her brother is in his senior year and Mirandas biggest fear is him being mad at her and not having anyone to protect her. She is very afraid this school ill be much like the others. Things seem dim when she meets a girl Zoe Miller. Shes her neighbor and has bad relationships with everyone around her. Can the girls come together and be strong? Or will the high school life eat them both tearing them apart? (Caution there is profanity and disturbing descriptions) !!Warning: May be triggering!!)
