The year 386 BC , the Greek and Persian war has just ended. War prisoner Kellin Quinn has been subjected to nothing but punishments and torture since being captured and torn away from his family. one day Kellin is taken to a slave auction in the city where his life may change forever.

vic fuentes gets transferred to a strict boarding school and is determined to stay focused on his grades and his future, but everything changes when he meets an upperclassman by the name of oliver skyes.

Kellin Quinn has an abusive Dad and turns to music for help. What happens when music becomes a no-blow for him, and he's forced to come out of his room and into the real world? When he has to walk to the halls of Clairemont High School, to only find the leader Vic Fuentes waiting for him at his locker - fists ready? Nothing has ever went Kellin's way, but will he force the feelings he has for Vic down, or will he bring them up and act upon them? "You never know, unless you try."

Vic is a very poor kid with a passion for music, a cutting addiction, and an eating disorder. Oli is filthy rich, has more addiction than you can imagine, and a passion for music that matches Vic's perfectly.
