Kara helped out Team Arrow to take down Prometheus and it brought Kara and Oliver to become closer more than teammates. They began seeing shortly after helping each other out and kept it hidden from their family and friends until they were ready. By the time Barry and Iris's wedding came around the corner, the team found out that Oliver and Kara have been seeing each other and kept in touch without their knowledge. Everyone wasn't really that surprised that Oliver and Kara would start dating each other, eventually everyone was cool with it as Felicity was jealous of the relationship between Oliver and Kara.
