The Hour of Joy happened on August 8th, 1995 at 11:00 A.M. An uprising - a bloody massacre of all who were in the Playtime Co. factory; faculty and staff. Over time, the toys, subjects to all the pain and suffering, were freed from the hand and experiments of the Scientists. The Prototype reigned over the entirety of the factory, his faithful servants Catnap and Huggy Wuggy helping him stay in control. But Experiment 1006 wasn't the only one they served. There was another - Experiment 1008, their Protector, their Guardian... their Angel. Rumors say that she used to know the Prototype before his transformation. But their Angel has no recollection of such a thing. In fact, the girl can't seem to remember anything - or anyone - from before the Hour of Joy. She suddenly disappears, and 1006 goes into a frenzy - sending out everyone to find her. It's only when 1008 wakes up in the Haven, run by the rebels Poppy, Doey, and the Playtime Butcher that she starts remembering things about her past from before the Hour of Joy. Strange people and strange places flutter across her mind, a hazy, dark fog of what used to be, and unable to remember her name. Upon waking up in a cold sweat from a nightmare, one more thing comes to mind. A friend she had once, long ago. A boy she nicknamed... Ollie?

Oliver and I were not good friends. Never had been. It wasn't for lack of trying. No, it was simply because whenever we spoke we ended up shouting. It was almost like a curse. Every innocent "hello" came with the threat of something breaking in two. A wave or a nod could set off an explosion, and if unscathed one of us would surely have a bad fall somewhere in between. We could be tied to chairs, blindfolded and gagged, and one of us would still find a way to spontaneously combust in the other's presence. Don't get me wrong, the interaction could start off great, like the brightest and sunniest of days, not so much as a light breeze to knock you off your balance. It was possible. Unfortunately, the other was inevitable. See, the blue skies could just as easily transform into a dark poisonous violet, the weather turning inhospitable. Before long I'd find myself wading through the acrid swamps of a biological disaster zone. It sure made getting around Hogwarts into a sport of equal challenge, as I was forced to walk in the opposite direction whenever I saw him. Silly? Sure. But look, the ozone layer is weak enough as it is without our close proximity adding to the ever building fumes. But today was different. There was an opposing force - I needed him. And when I wanted something I was also a curse to be reckoned with. The curse that caused havoc between the two of us was strong too, sure. But the answer to which of the opposing forces was strongest remained to be seen. I knew I sure as hell wasn't going to let the corrosive energy between us win without a fight. I was going to be on my very best behaviour. Hazmat suit on. Goggles, gloves - the works. I found him in the gym down by the pitch. My imagination went haywire when I heard him grunting as he worked one of the machines and had to stifle visions of Oliver I refused to believe I was capable of.

Grace Holmes gets recruited by Cecil after intervening in a monster attack and using her powers. During the monster attack Rex tries to make her leave but she ends up killing the monster before he does making him mad. due to his ego now being hurt Rex tries to make grace quite causing multiple fights between them. due to her powers being seemingly unstable due to her emotions Rex uses her weakness against her to to to make it seem like she was never meant to be a hero. But over the course of her being with the team things start escalating. her powers are becoming more unstable and Rudy is doing his best to help her manage them only to have all his experiments and contraptions fail. after one massive fight that causes over a million dollars in damages Cecil makes Rex and Grace work together and get over there childish rivalry or both get fired. but things aren't always what they seem. Things from Grace's past slow start coming to light making the team her powers are not the only problem in her life that she needs to worry about.

During Harrys first quidditch game, Oliver gets injured and Flint brings him to the hospital wing So this is an old story of mine of Oliver Wood x Marcus Flint, ik its not the most popular ship, so if you don't like it, don't read it. no hate pls.
