This is takes place right after Charlie graduates university. The two are living together. We meet a new character Abigail Nelson(Nicks younger sister, 13) life after Charlie graduates is perfect as the two are free and can do whatever they want now. This all ended very shortly tho. Nicks mother ( Sarah Nelson) is diagnosed with cancer and shortly passes after being diagnosed. All 3 Nelson kids are heartbroken but one of the boys are going to have to take Abigail under their wing but nick knowing what kind of person David is he is determined to adopt Abigail.
