Two heroes and their tragic story lines of love lost and found. A lyrical story and deep exploration of love, the meaning of life, and home. Tom Nelson, stationed in the Philippines, is hopelessly stuck in the past after the tragic death of his fiancee, Susanna, the love of his life, and desperately tries to find his way out from the darkness of the loss and make peace with never-ending memories of her. He wends his way through relationships with Sasi, a Thai woman who resembles Susanna in appearance, manner, and voice, and Aida Pinoy, a young Filipina who sees Tom as her own true love. Frank Bailey, in a parallel story set twenty-years earlier, finds his romantic match in the beautiful, and mysterious, Marie Teneo, a well to-do Filipina with a quick temper and hot passion. Together, Frank and Marie fight against the dark rage of Marie's former lover who seeks revenge against her for the scar she left on his face after discovering him with another woman. The surprise ending brings the four together in an explosive climax of forever love, reunion, and freedom.

Could be a hoax, could be a true to life story. This short piece is based on the story my grandfather told me when I was a kid. The place where it took place, Olongapo, is his hometown. Could some mysterious events like this be true? If they could, would they be accidental and be out of coincidence or would they be meant to happen?
