However in the adoption agreement she made it clear that if anything happens to the adoptive parents at any time that the child would be put back into her care. Now that baby is a fourteen year old young woman who just lost her parents in a fatal boating accident. Now Sarah Blake is grieving the loss of her parents and going through the process of learning that she'll be moving to LA of all places to live with her birth mother.

What happens when Elizabeth (Lizzie) Olsen and young fearful Amelia cross paths? Will Lizzie be able to pull Amelia from the darkness? When Amelia runs away from her abusive foster home she manages to get a small cramped motel room for the night, what happens when a certain person finds her begging for money on the street?
