The orphanage is not the best nor the worst place for children to be. But what if one day one of the workers left the gate open. Evelyn is curious what's outside of the place she has been at ever since her mother left her. She gets lost and bumps into a woman who will change her life.

After growing up with a mother struggling with addiction, an absent father, and being moved in and out of care, the girls were eventually left at an orphanage when Eloise was just one year old.
