Many eras before the time of Avatar Aang, three young thieves jump onto a merchant ship to flee Omashu after a heist goes wrong. This first portion of Tales, Scripts, and Accounts follows their journey, where they accidentally bear witness to a genocide of the Si Wong Desert's largest tribe- lead by none other than the current Avatar himself. This piece sets the stage for the rest of The Earth Kingdom Urchins and my long term compendium- Tales, Scripts, and Accounts- that explores corruption across various parts of the Earth Kingdom through the perspective of important criminals from this era.

This story is about a head strong girl with a kind heart and curious mind. Princess Aura loved her island where everyone lived happily and peacefully no matter their bending but she lost all she's ever known over night. Grieving can be hard specially when the fresh wounds are reopened again and again with the loss of the people you love. Now 11 Princess Aura stumbles across the Avatar and his friends who offer her to travel along with them but how could she? She can't leave the only family she has left behind or can she? Read to find out about her journey and all the crazy adventures she comes across.

REWRITING: I noticed that I am very far off on facts and I want to recycle this story and make it better. I'll still be leaving this version up as far as I have it. Tenzin is a nervous loner living in the Southern Air Temple. With his father gone visiting the Northern Air Temple, his anxiety attacks are getting worse. Although his mentor and respective uncle Monk Kwan is watching over him, he is feeling the constant pressure to join the young airbenders to the Western and Eastern Air Temples for the Season, to court and legally bond with the females there. But how could he reproduce and risk passing down the same fate he has to a child? How could his timid personality ever attract a female airbender, especially with the limited experience he has associating with them? But his curiosity gets the better of him as he decides to go with the young airbenders, but only to meditate in the famous Meditation Circle at the Eastern Air Temple. When he accidentally disrupts a female airbender's traditional week-long meditation before her Anointment Ceremony, the last thing he expects is to make a friend. But the upbeat, cheerful, forgiving yet unforgiving young woman won't take a no to a game of airball for an answer. Will she still be able to accept him when he tells her what he is? No one else has, so how could she be any different? Is there a possibility of a real Air Nomadic life for him? This is my own idea of how Aang's parents met and their relationship, and the Air Nomad's traditional way of reproducing. If you had your own idea of how it should have been and you're upset about how mine is completely different, then I apologize but I'm excited to write my story. Well, now this has gone from a one-shot to a series of Kataang One-shots. These are all one-shots and they are all in order. I believe all of these could have totally happened in the series so, to me, these are all canon, so they are in my headcanon. I really like Kataang but It didn't get as much screen time as I wanted it to, so this is my way of coping with that!
