It has been said that in Omelas, everyone is always happy. There are always constant celebrations, parties or dances to go to. She was 8 when she noticed the blonde boy in ragged clothing with bruises, sores and cuts all over him. She doesn't think the adults ever noticed him despite his bizarre looks, but she did. He fascinates her. His facial expressions were not like the others who always had a constant cheerful expression. His expression reminds her of the bedtime stories her parents always tell her about; fear and terror. Was that how fear looks like? Inspired by 'The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas' by Ursula K. Le Guin. (Lowkey obsessed ^^^) *Extremely Short Story* ___________________ Just imagine, being the only person who isn't allowed to laugh, grin or smile. Showing happiness is a being able to use another emotion that everyone should have the freedom to use. So many smiling faces, peoples laughter. The sound of childrens giggles roaming all around the place, bringing joy to anyone around. But through my eyes, its the hardest thing I could ever do. Being able to smile.

There was almost this feeling of ... urgency coursing inside of you, you had to be in that room, you had to try figuring out who this boy in front of you was ... and honestly you couldn't just leave him down in the basement ... all alone ... in the dark. {Y/N} didn't know just how seriously important her meeting with 'Taehyung' all those years ago was. But now here she is, 12 years later standing in front of that basement door ... Why was she called back here again?

This is The Tragic Story Of Omelas. Remember this is a work of fiction and has been inspired by books, events and etc.

There have been many theories given about the Spring Day MV, from "The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" to the Sewol Ferry Tributes. There is one theory no one has ever explored. Why the Laundromat? A Fan Fiction Theory...

This story is based on the story 'The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas' by Ursula LeGuin (1973). The characters and events in this story is however completely created by myself. You can read the original story before reading this. It is really short. I recently received an assignment to write up a story. So, this was the result of the said assignment. The One Who Returned to Omelas just pictures a person who returned to Omelas after leaving the place for good. Hope you enjoy!
