Omelas Stories

Inspired by The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas by Le Guin, The Ones Who Call Bullshit on Omelas is inspired by, set in the same universe as, and serves as a response to Le Guin's timeless short story. While the tone can be a bit more accusational, the whole schtick is very much the same as with the classic by Ursula Le Guin.

So this is legit just a bunch of stories that I'm supposed to read in school so like none of this is my writing just so we have that clear

"I was around the age of 8 when I was ripped from my mother arms..." Based off of a short story from 1973 named "The ones who walked away from omelas". (Also some BTS fake love theories)

This is The Tragic Story Of Omelas. Remember this is a work of fiction and has been inspired by books, events and etc.

"The ones who walk away from Omelas-"

'The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas' is a story about a Utopian city. Set in a summer festival, the city of Omelas is a city who's prosperity depends on the perpetual misery of a child hidden below the city. This story is based on Variations on a theme by William James. The the book 'The Wind's Twelve Quarters' is were this story lays.

In a perfect society like Omelas, where everyone happily lives, only one child is forced to remain locked up for the rest of his life in a room to allow others to have their happiness. I told the story of the Omelas child from my point of view, referring to the story of Le Guin: "Those who move away from Omelas". Even if you have never read the story of Le Guin you will have the opportunity to interpret the story according to your vision and give it its own meaning.

The residents are never sad. They never cry. Never mourn. Never mad. That is Omelas, the place where happiness last forever. Travelers from far away found it intriguing, but never questioned it. Happiness is their core. That is theirs and theirs alone. This is a story about a girl who lives in Omelas. She is just an innocent daughter of a doctor, but what she found under the city will change her heart ultimately. One decision. Two lives. Three choices. Four eyes. Five days. Six stars. Seven boys. Can she do it?

No one is proud of what goes on inside the Room.

(Lowkey obsessed ^^^) *Extremely Short Story* ___________________ Just imagine, being the only person who isn't allowed to laugh, grin or smile. Showing happiness is a being able to use another emotion that everyone should have the freedom to use. So many smiling faces, peoples laughter. The sound of childrens giggles roaming all around the place, bringing joy to anyone around. But through my eyes, its the hardest thing I could ever do. Being able to smile.
