This book has some aspects from the show but not all. Everyone in this book has been featured in Grey's Anatomy except for some of the kids and a few characters that I might make up along the way to add drama. The book is mostly centered around Omelia Couples: Owen and Amelia Meredith and Derek Callie and Arizona Jackson and Maggie Alex and Jo Other characters and couples are also featured in the story but these are the main ones.

Meredith Grey is settling in nicely. She finally got her life back to normal after Derek's death. But life with out her beloved Derek, life seems to be scary and more difficult then she thought it out to be.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Derek hadn't died? If so, you should read this story! This fan-fiction is what it would be like if Derek didn't die... Although he did have some injuries, and if you read you will figure out how they were handled and who handled them... He would've experienced Zola and Bailey grow up, bonded more with his sister, and would have spent more time with Meredith. !! "Owen! I'm home. Whatever your making! it smells amazing!" I call. I put my keys in the dish by the door, and walk around the boxes at the end of the couch. "Owen?" I call again, maybe he didn't hear me. I hear a crash come from the kitchen. "OWEN!" I run to the kitchen to see him on the floor, clutching his chest, trying to breathe, but failing miserably. "Oh my!!........." With shaking hands, I pull my phone out and dial 911. The rest comes in a blur. I've called 911 a hundred times, but there's only one other time that's felt like this. Ryan. I thought I was over that, but I feel like I'm living it all over again.
