It's finally December and I am so excited! I wanted to write a cute little advent calendar this year, but since I've only had the idea mid-November, I realized there was no way of creating a coherent story. Therefore, let us celebrate the Christmas time with my five major Omelia families in a cozy, wintery, soft and lighthearted atmosphere. Each day until the 25th of December, there will be a oneshot about one of my Omelia families (Family Stories, Mistakes, Uncontrollable, You're Mine, Closure). I hope you are as excited for this as I am and enjoy this advent calendar. <3

A Omelia story, it's going to be hectic and bonding. It's just based on grey's anatomy backstory and I made a few changes in it for example: Derek never died, Lexie and Mark moved to New York with Lexi for her unique neuromicrosurgery fellowship at Colombia. The only big disaster that happened were the bomb episode and the shooting episode. There's no Allison and Leo is 11 years old. Amelia is in this on and off, complicated, relationship with her best friend Mark Sloan. They've been on and off and on and off for years, it's hard to even keep track. Owen, on the other hand, just got out of a toxic marriage with Cristina Yang because she accused him of being in love with Amelia Shepherd, which she wasn't wrong. Owen did love Amelia- well maybe love isn't the right word, but he thought she was insanely pretty. Owen wanted a good relationship, and he wanted to be with Amelia, but she was with someone else. At the same time Amelia becomes tired with the complicated on and off relationship with Mark Sloan, so maybe she'll try something new?

It's been a year since Owen and Amelia lost their girls and Teddy got comfortable with Patrick. Betty is going into her junior year, Leo is turning two, and P.J. is 7 months. Things were looking up for everyone until two families became one. Now everyone is trying to figure out how to grow together In This House.
