In the 1980s, life was tough for 16-year-old Greg Wanders. Greg lived in a quiet part of Chicago, Illinois, but he's always dreamed of going to New York and making a name for himself. But he and his best friend Patrick together go through whatever life has to offer, and life is offering up a lot; especially offering the captain of the Football team Jack Blake as their bully. But one of the most wonderful gift that Greg thinks life gave him was the fine Mia Cunningham. Will he go through life in one piece...or in as few pieces as possible, that is? Or will he be end up like his uncle Fred sitting in Times Square begging for money?
