A remastered version of The Promised Land, a short story I wrote a few years ago. There is, ultimately, no lesson or theme to this story. I myself haven't figured out the ultimate interpretation. And maybe that's okay. Maybe every story doesn't need to have a final lesson or a theme. Just enjoy being along for the ride. My thanks to everyone at RLC for all the support over the years. My first collection of horror stories(Mostly creepy), carefully thought of and picked from the depths of my dark,sick, and twisted mind hehe ^^. I'll add more content whenever I feel inspired(mostly when I'm drinking red Mountain Dew).

Deadly consequences unfold at night when all of their livelihoods come together by one mysterious mastermind who is set on the course of revenge.

Every old house has that one room everyone forgets about. No one talks about it. Sometimes it's sealed off, or hidden behind a false wall - a place swallowed by darkness so thick it seems to swallow light itself. The shadows in this room aren't just absence of light, they're something else... watching, waiting, alive.

Children have great imaginations but for Miko Lang the dreams, scary creatures and voices are anything but fiction. He's experienced this since he was weaned. His grandmother told him when the time comes, all will be revealed by the Tree in the woods. Don't worry, he didn't get it either. Then while playing with his sister, he feels compelled to enter the woods and finds the Tree. An ancient skeleton unearthed in a desolate hollow reveals signs of a violent, unnatural death, and those who disturb it soon vanish, leaving only eerie signs that something still lingers beneath the earth.

Horror story

A wetland excavation uncovers a grotesque, tangled mass of impossible bones, awakening something ancient beneath the mud. As the ground begins to pulse and a towering composite creature briefly rises from the pit, the workers flee-leaving behind a seemingly calm marsh that still, unmistakably, breathes.

A street worker uncovers a buried skeleton with a massive hole torn through its left side-an opening that looks less like an injury and more like something that once escaped, still stirring beneath the soil.

Daleyza has slain hundreds of monsters. When the land falls to disease and famine, and beasts forgotten and feared alike arise, she slays hundreds more.
