After a year with Paul and Patryk, Tord feels like he betrayed his friends especially Tom... which he cared for the most for some slight reason.. Tom also might have feelings for Tord... he did miss Tord but felt hurt and betrayed.. Skylar was a senior in high school when she had to move away from her life long friend and crush. When she moved she got a new school, new friends, new crushes, new drama and everything in her life becomes complicated. (This is still the book complicated just changed around and the story line doesnt move too quickly. Also some parts will be in diary form as if skylar or one of the characters is writing in a journal)

Carly Withers never expected to talk again. She had no friends because she was mute, or that's what everyone thought at least. In reality she could talk, there was nothing wrong with her vocal cords, she just chose not to speak. It was her choice, technically, but it was forced. The real reason she didn't talk, well it's not good, to say the least. When she moves to a new school and meets a boy who says he doesn't mind that she is 'mute', will he find out her secrets and help her, or will she keep her secrets hidden forever?
