Mari never died on the day of the accident. Basil had called for help, and she was left in a coma. All because of Sunny. This was a fact his parents struggled to come to terms with. They decided they no longer wanted to continue taking care of him, and forfeited all parental rights, leaving Sunny to bounce around in the foster care system. His friends have no idea where he is and no method of contacting him. The group was left to cope with the loss of 2 dear friends, though neither of them died. Was it really so unrealistic to think they'd see Sunny again one day? Or to think that Mari would ever wake up? -Cross posted from Ao3-

(this is a sunflower book and I was inspired but this is going to be a completely different story) play the game spoilers will be in this! ever since the two met Sunny couldn't get him off his mind although when they officially met it got worse. Will the two of them work over their problems? Or will they both get caught up in the lies?
