I'm discontinuing this because I'm rewriting this, since it's badly written and I just wanna add things that I can't in this version. Basically what I imagine happens after OMORI. Sunny had told everyone the truth, and now he's seen as being a murderer. Kel is the only one who believes Sunny, and has to figure out how to prove to Aubrey and Hero that Sunny is innocent. Meanwhile, Omori is alive but trapped in the place in Sunny's mind where forgotten memories go, and with each memory he sees he begins to question who he is and if he is still needed. Little does he know, Headspace is in ruin and the only way to save it is to reset it, which only Omori can do. The only problem: Only the Dreamer can bring Omori back. But will the Dreamer even want Omori to return after everything he's done? And if that isn't enough, someone from the past is returning, with only one thing on their mind: revenge. So yeah. This is the first time I've ever written anything this long, but I love OMORI and wanted to write this, because there's TOO MANY questions in the end. So please bear with me. Just so you know, I ship Suntan, so this will have Suntan in it. But even if you don't ship Suntan I hope you still read and enjoy it. One last thing: I got the idea for this after reading Omori: What Comes After by @EpsilonofExcellence so there will be some similarities, but the story is mostly mine. OMORI spoilers because obvs. I do not own OMORI or the characters. They all belong to OMOCAT. I also did not create the cover art, I have no idea who it belongs to.

You all know the story of Sunny and what happened to his sister, but you may not know what has been going through the mind of one flower boy. It's been a year since Sunny moved to the city. He kept in touch with all of his friends, but one horrible phone call changes everything. What happens if Sunny returned to his home town to find one of his friends has been drowning in a pit of darkness and despair? Well, let's find out. This is a headcanon story of what happens next in Omori, and headcanons of Basil's backstory since we don't know much about it. I am not the owner of the game Omori, for the owner is OmOCat. There are going to be some small spoilers to the game, so please be warned.

Sunny x Basil Fanfiction, switches character POV. As the dawn breaks, a new beginning sets in for Sunny and Basil. Sunny stays in Faraway Town, challenged with integrating back into society and facing his mental health. Basil is determined to help Sunny, but often finds himself in need of help as well, to deal with loneliness, anxiety, and trauma. Basil tries his best to keep a brave face, although he is struggling. Sunny always recognizes Basil's struggles first, and lends an ear. The two of them lift each other through their shared trauma. Sunny discovers that his crush on his friend Aubrey was actually a mask for his romantic feelings for Basil. Basil has an idea to relive the past, so he attempts to relive those vivid memories and hold them forever with Sunny. They'll document the last few days with each other before he moves from faraway. The past is permanent, so why can't they go back to it? However, things that were buried never truly were, and friends twist into enemies.

sooo I wanted to write somethin about the aftermath of omori so here we go by the way warning this will be a more twisted way for things to go in the story so be prepared for that. Sunnyxbasil = perfection also I obviously dont own omori, just putting that there cause you know ;/ Also, also just got #1 on omori tag as of feburary 26, I don't really know how this works but that is an exciting mile stone I think, so..... COOL Wow for my first story this got quite the reception, still competing for the top of the omori tag like a champ almost a month after I finished it, amazing thank you :)
