Before her internship begins, she goes on vacation to her best friend's family lake house nearby, where she meets a mysterious guy who says he wants to "claim her". Catherine does her best to resist his irresistible charms, but his animal magnetism ignites a fire in her internal wolf. A wolf she never knew was inside of her. (Please note: This is a short story. A collection of short stories inspired initially by a wide array of prompts from various places. Sometimes it's one word; maybe a phrase or a saying; sometimes a particular photo setting the creative wheels in motion. I love the development from that first small glow of imagination, the germ of a story that begins to grow, and then the nurturing and careful pruning, until finally it blossoms.
