She had been working as a scout for a gang of thieves for years. When her little sister passed away there was no other reason for her to stay so she escaped hoping to lead a righteous life, sort of. Unfortunately her days of breaking into places are not over yet. This story takes part in the ONC 2020 using prompt 8. (although I am not quite sure I am using it enough. I'm mainly using the part of the secret identity and sort of the damsel in distress part) I hope the few people that read this like it!

Desperate, she finds herself looking for new ways to support her ailing mother and pay the growing pile of hospital bills. One day, during a not-entirely-legal endeavor, something goes awfully wrong, but she's saved by charming barkeeper Nyron. As her world collapses around her and pushes her under, Nyron is there to keep her from drowning. When Liliya learns the identity of the nefarious Memory Thief, she finds herself entangled in a web even Nyron can't get her out of. Especially since he's just as tied up as she is. ONC2020 entry! This is the journey of the Tellus XII manned mission to Alpha Centauri. The mission will bring man even further into the universe as well as the future; and even closer to answering the lingering question: Are we alone? Tellus is my first go with the science fiction genre, and I honestly spend more time researching than actually writing, but the science is probably still going to be off. So please bare with me. Welp, we made it onto the longlist, which is like getting the bronze award. Not too bad for a first draft and a first time. I'd like to edit and release a print edition of this book soon. Any feedback is appreciated.

It's Friday the 13th and eighteen year old Glo just lost part of her soul. Unaware of the peril she's in, she meets the mysterious Lucas, who warns her that she must reunite with her soul before Armageddon ensues. Enter Dawson, a handsome new student who seems to know a lot about Glo's predicament. As Dawson and Lucas seek to establish influence over her, it's clear that this isn't the first time the newcomers have played this situation out. Realizing she is just a pawn in a larger game, she fights to complete the task set before her as the lines of what is good and what is evil blur.
